Buying Policies
1. Magic the Gathering:
Bulk Rates:
- $3/ 1000 cards (all variations and foiling)
Individual Scanning:
- Any cards scanned are considered as Moderately Played. (Newer sets that do not have a MP price will be considered Lightly Played for pricing purposes.)
- Cards are scanned and compared with the current TCGPlayer rates for the specific condition of the card.
- Any cards scanned that rate less than $3 are placed in the bulk category.
Pay Out:
- Cash: payout is 1/3 the determined value.
- Store credit: pay out is 1/2 of the determined value.
Large value collections will be evaluated and negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
2. Dragonball Super, Pokemon, Force of Will, Yu-Gi-Oh:
Bulk Rates:
- We are currently not purchasing bulk product for these TCG's
- Any cards scanned are considered as Moderately Played. (Newer sets that do not have a MP price will be considered Lightly Played for pricing purposes.)
- Cards are scanned and compared with the current TCGPlayer rates for the specific condition of the card.
- Any cards scanned that rate less than $3 are placed in the bulk category.
Pay Out:
- Cash payout is 1/3 the determined value.
- Store credit pay out is 1/2 the determined value.
3. Board Games:
Since our board games go out as rental items we are very selective about what we can purchase. Here are the general guidelines.
- All pieces and instructions must be present and serviceable.
- There can be no stains, odors, or particulate matter on any part of the item.
- Management or their representatives have full discretion on whether a game is able to be purchased based on it's appeal to other consumers.
Pricing:
Since we sell our used games at 20% off we have a low purchase point. We look the game up on a sales outlet (ebay, amazon, etc) and find what they're selling for and base our offer to you from there. It's usually around 40% less and only paid out in store credit. This is more a feature to help cycle through both of our collections...we get "new games" from you and you're able to purchase new favorites with your credit.
